Citizenship verification at odds with Wisconsin’s same-day voter registration, county clerk says

On Friday, a Waukesha County judge ordered the state Elections Commission to verify the citizenship status of all Wisconsin voters in time for the next statewide election. But the Dane County Clerk says overhauling the current system would be a β€œhuge multiyear project.”
